Packaging

For the first time here, I'm gonna write in English. I warned it could and would happen. Despite I really like to write in Spanish and certainly do it better than in English, I'm looking forward for my blog to be read for friends and people from around the world. Many of the friends I made in Italy surely find it hard to understand what I say, and I consider it a warm up for times to come overseas in Canada. I'll never (except for special occasions) translate from or into Spanish/English, so get used to it. I beg you to leave your comments in the same language the post is written.

When you leave a place where you have lived for the last five (supposedly best) years of your life you realize a lot of things. You realize how many friends you've made and are leaving behind. You realize how many of them you thought to be good and are actually not, and how many you didn't think to be as close to you as indeed now are. You realize that you've taken some good and many bad decisions. You really get to know that you're gonna keep this university time as one of your more precious treasures, and look at your photos with tears on your eyes.

But, overall, you realize how much crappy stuff you've stored in your bedroom! I've already packed 80 kg of books, clothes, shoes, bikes (well, bike), magazines, photos, backpacks, a yombe drum... and it seems to never stop. I even have a table football figure that I want to keep.

Looking at that useless shit is like tripping from the very first moment I arrived to this island to the present day. And each one of them tells a different unforgettable story. I really need to change place and life but I'm really gonna miss these.

To every one of you who made it possible: thank you and see you in Canada! ;)
